The method for cleaning domestic floors varies depending on the type of floor surface and the model of the cleaning machine being used.
Cleaning Domestic Floors with Duplex 280
Hard Floors Cleaning
Step 1
Preparation:
Fill the clean solution tank with water and ensure the machine is plugged in.
Step 2
Lightly Soiled Floors:
Use the Duplex 280 in long laps with a moderate amount of water, starting from the powerpoint side to avoid cable entanglement.
Step 3
Heavily Soiled Floors:
Apply the flood and scrub method: saturate a small area with excess water, scrub with the pickup system off, then turn on the pickup system to recover water.
Carpets Cleaning
Step 1
Preparation:

Hard Floors Cleaning

Fill the boiler with water, turn on the machine, and wait for steam.
Step 2
Lightly Soiled Floors:
Use the 'Floor Tool' with a microfiber pad in long passes for efficient cleaning.
Step 3
Heavily Soiled Floors:
Expose the bristles on the 'Floor Tool' for tougher grime, cleaning in small areas and removing grime with an absorbent cloth or vacuum.
Carpets Cleaning
Step 1
Before Cleaning:
Dry vacuum to remove dust.
Step 2
Lightly Soiled Carpets:
With the Jetsteam Tosca, use the 'Floor Tool' with a microfiber pad in long passes. If using Jetvac Eco, clean with the floor tool by steam vacuuming in long passes.
Step 3
Heavily Soiled Carpets:
Focus on small areas at a time, softening grime with steam before turning on the vacuum for extraction with the Jetvac Eco.
