Duplex Floor Scrubber Basic Maintenance Tips
Cleaning
Always clean the machine after use.
Detach water tanks and recovery tank for thorough cleaning.
Remove brushes to rinse.
Wipe belts and the machine's underside with a damp cloth.
Steam Kit Descaling
Descale the steam kit quarterly to remove buildup by adding descaler mix into the steam kit water tank and running it into a bucket.
Rinse by flushing with a full tank of water afterward.
Tanks - Water/Steam
Ensure the water/steam distribution holes in the tanks are unobstructed and clean for even steam distribution.
Conveyor Belts
Clean the black pickup conveyor belts with a damp cloth to remove dirt.
Apply Duplex Silicon Spray post-cleaning to prevent the rubber from drying out.
Power Cord
Regularly inspect the power cord for any damage like blisters, kinks, or exposed wires, which can occur if the cord is run over by the machine or wound too tightly.
Trimmer Strips
Maintain cleanliness of the white trimmer strips on the recovery tank for optimal pickup.
Replace the strips when a gap forms between the strips and the black belts, indicating wear.
Wheels
Check that the four wheels under the machine are debris-free and spin freely for easy transport. Ensure they are also level.
