Steps to Clean GROUT LINES WITH JETSTEAM / JETVAC
Grout Lines Cleaning
Step 1
Attach the Pressure Lance: Connect the Pressure Lance tool with a nylon detailing brush (triangle shape recommended) to the steam hose. If cleaning the floor, attach extension poles for ease of use.
Step 2
Start in a Corner: Begin in a corner, setting the steam to high. This initial position allows for systematic cleaning across the surface.
Step 3
Lightly Agitate Grout Lines: Slowly run the Steam Lance with the brush down the length of the grout line with light contact. The high-pressure steam will do most of the work, reducing the need for heavy scrubbing.
Step 4
Repeat as Necessary: Go over the length of the grout line 2-4 times until most of the grime has been removed. Some areas, like shower recesses or around toilets and basins, may require extra passes.
Step 5
Clean Each Grout Line: Repeat the process for every grout line. Most will only need to be gone over once, but some may need more attention.
Step 6
Wipe Up the Grime: After steaming all the grout lines and blasting out the grime, dry wipe the area with a cloth or microfiber pad to clean up any residue.
Step 7
Steam Clean the Floor
: For a completely clean, use the Rectangular Floor tool with a microfiber pad (for JetSteam) or the steam vacuum floor tool (for JetVac) to steam clean the floor.

Regularly cleaning the floor with steam instead of wet mopping will help keep grout lines cleaner for longer, as minimal water deposits are left behind.
