Step 1
Vacuum First: Begin by vacuuming the curtains or drapes to remove any dry dust, preventing dust from mixing with the steam moisture and forming grime.
Step 2
Using the Pressure Lance:
• Start from the top of the curtain/drape and slowly steam downwards, moving left to right.
• Maintain close contact (~5cm/2”) and move about 10-20cm per pass, descending at roughly one meter per minute.
• Pull the curtain from the bottom to make it taut and prevent movement.

• Clamp a clean cotton or microfiber cloth over the head and steam down the curtain in vertical passes.
• Ensure contact with the fabric to capture emulsified grime on the cloth. Change the clothes when dirty.

Attach the brush to the upholstery tool and dry vacuum the curtain/drape to remove dust.

Hold the base of the curtain/drape taut and steam while lightly agitating the fabric to loosen soiling.

Steam Vacuum Cleaning:
• Remove the brush and start steam vacuuming from the top, moving the head in slow, long vertical passes.
• If the JetVac has a water-filtered vacuum, adjust the vacuum speed to a low setting to reduce noise and avoid pulling the curtain.
