Steps to Clean Toilets & Urinals with JetSteam/JetVac
Quick Bathroom Cleaning
Step 1
Water Tank:Start at the top, steaming the water tank and button area. Use the steam to disinfect and loosen dirt, then dry off the area with a cloth.
Step 2
Lid
: Steam both the front and back of the toilet lid. The steam not only cleans but also sanitises. After steaming, use a cloth to dry the lid thoroughly.
Step 3
Seat: Clean the toilet seat by steaming both the top and bottom surfaces, with special attention to the hinge area where bacteria can accumulate. Ensure the steam covers all areas before drying with a cloth.
Step 4
Rim: Direct the high-pressure jet of steam into the rim, slowly working around it. This process helps dislodge dark grime that may fall into the bowl. For models like the Jetsteam Maxi Inox or Jetvac Junior, use water injection to help flush out the grime more effectively.
Step 5
Bowl: Begin steaming from the top of the bowl near the rim down towards the water level. Focus on any watermarks, such as calcium or rust, using steam and slight agitation to remove them. After steaming, flush the toilet to wash away the loosened grime.
Step 7
Outer Bowl and S-Bend: Finally, clean the outer bowl and S-bend. Start with the top of the S-bend, using steam to push the grime down to the floor, then steam the outer bowl, working the grime down as well. Target the small gap between the toilet bowl and the floor to blast out any hidden grime.
