JetSteam Steam Cleaner
Mattress Cleaning
Step 1
Initial Vacuuming:
Begin by vacuuming the mattress to remove dry dust. This prevents dust from mixing with steam moisture and forming grime.
Step 2
Attach the Triangle Swivel Head:
Connect the triangle swivel head, with a cotton or microfiber cloth clamped, to the JetSteam hose.
Step 3
Start with the Sides of the Mattress:
Clean the sides of the mattress first, as they generally have less soiling. Use long, slow passes to allow the steam time to emulsify grime, decontaminate, and penetrate the mattress for deodorisation.
Step 4
Clean the Top of the Mattress:
After the sides, repeat the same process on the top of the mattress.
Step 5
Address Stains (if any):
For stains, some agitation may be necessary. If the cloth becomes wet or dirty, replace it with a fresh one for better results.
Jetvac Steam Vacuum Cleaner
Mattress Cleaning
Step 1
Dry Vacuum the Mattress:
Use the JetVac to dry vacuum the mattress, removing any dust.
Step 2
Attach the Upholstery Tool:
Connect the upholstery tool to the JetVac steam vacuum hose, adding the brush for agitation.
Step 3
Steam and Agitate the Mattress:
Start steaming on the top of the mattress, lightly agitating the fabric to break up soiling. Then proceed to the sides.
Step 4
Remove the Brush and Vacuum:
After steaming and agitating, remove the brush. Slowly steam vacuum the mattress to emulsify soiling and allow for deep penetration of the steam for deodorisation and decontamination.
Step 5
Extra Agitation for Stains:
Some stains may need additional agitation or water injection to break up.
* Always remember to avoid over dampening the inner cushioning to prevent long drying times that can lead to odours, mould or mildew growth
